Dr. Sabrina Rood, Narrative Therapist
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I began seeing my clients only via telehealth. I offer confidential Zoom and telephone sessions five days a week. Beginning in July 2023, I resumed seeing some clients on Saturdays at my Queen Anne office, while continuing to offer telehealth sessions. My narrative therapy services are $100/hour. I do not accept insurance. Because my licensure status is pending, I currently am not a licensed mental health provider and as such you cannot be reimbursed for my narrative therapy services through your insurance's out-of-network provider policy. You may pay me with cash, check, PayPal, or Venmo. Returned checks are subject to bank fees. As a member of the American Psychological Association, I abide by the APA Code of Ethics. As such, I offer reduced rates to clients as appropriate and I always have two pro bono slots available for those clients who are unable to afford sessions at any rate. Please feel free to ask me about reduced rates if you need them. Individual sessions are 50 minutes long; couples may have 75-minute sessions or 100-minute sessions.
Saturday appointments are available in Suite 400 at the beautiful First West Building in Queen Anne, Seattle, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. At the Queen Anne office, street parking is available at a cost, and there are a few free spots several blocks away. If it is your first time coming to the office, we will discuss security protocols, as the building is a secure building, especially on weekends, and I will need to meet you in the lobby and escort you to the therapy offices on the 4th floor. I continue to offer telehealth sessions to all clients and for some, this will remain the modality in which we meet even after the pandemic has passed.
